Overview of on-line submission

infoDev is actively seeking submissions of high quality material to contribute to the eGovernment knowledge map.

In terms of best practices and case studies, we are looking for examples that highlight how the principles outlined below have been applied to specific projects in developing countries. Practitioners and other experts are encouraged to provide examples and related policy documents which showcase eGovernment approaches. An Advisory Board has been established and will be responsible for reviewing all submissions in terms of quality, focus and precision. Authors will be given full attribution and the final product will be widely distributed by infoDev.

Some of the key areas in which we are hoping to receive submissions are:
  • Strategy: Planning and Design: documents concerning strategic design and prganization: Implementing and Managing: reports or management tools for e-government, moving from strategy to practice.
  • Financing eGovernment: reports concerning how best to fund eGovernment at all levels of government.
  • Working with Donors: reports concerning the best way to work with donors on eGovernment projects.
  • Partnerships: examples of public/private partnerships and partnerships between government agencies at any level of government for eGovernment applications.
  • Training and Workforce: curricula or documents concerning workforce training on use of eGovernment.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: case studies of evaluations of eGovernment strategies and applications.
  • Policy, Law and Regulation: draft or final eGovernment enabling legislation or policies.
  • Infrastructure and the Digital Divide: reports on experiences with infrastructure and using infrastructure to increase access.
  • Cross cutting Issues or general case studies: reports that make compelling and practical suggestions on eGovernment.

You may submit appropriate materials, for which you hold copyright (see Copyright Guidelines), through this web site. This easy to use system leads you through a brief series of screens to submit your materials.

When you have completed your submission a Content Expert will review your material in accordance with our screening criteria. You will also be able to monitor the review status of your submitted material
